Dualshock 4 Issues.
Hi, I've been having a problem with my Dualshock 4 being detected in the game recently. I took a short break and came back and now I'm suffering from it all the time. The game seems to think I am using an Xbox 360 Controller which I am not and as a result certain button inputs on my PS4 controller are slow and my touch pad is useless. I've tried using different cables to connect the controller, tried updating drivers, I don't know what else I can do.
From the "System Settings" in game I can only select "Controller (Xbox 360 for Windows)" in the "Device" drop down menu whereas this was never the case before. I'm stumped and want to get back into playing the game as comfortably as I could before.
As a side note, both my PC and Steam recognise that I am using a Dualshock 4 controller, so it's only the game.

Good morning and thank you for posting on the Final Fantasy XIV Technical Support Forums.
The game should be able to read your controller even if it is detecting it as "Xbox 360 for Windows." What exactly do you mean by "button inputs are slow," is there some sort of input lag? Additionally, I don't believe the game will support the touch pad even it was reading it as a Dualshock 4 controller.
When was the last time you were able to get the controller to work the way you wanted?
We hope we can be of assistance in helping you enjoy the exciting world of Final Fantasy XIV!
