As title asks - with 4.2 around the bend is it worth spending our Creation Tomes? Will stuff be cheaper in a week? Does it not make any real difference?
I just got a NIN to 70 so was gonna buy the weapon or kit it out with right side. Just wondering if I should sit on my 1200 creation or burn through it.

Wait til 4.2, they tend to reduce the price of weekly tomes gear in half when they become unlimited.

My main class is PLD with all items at ilvl340. I was farming more creation tomes to improve my Alt gears. Right now i have a total of 1500 tomestones of creation. I will save them because in the next patch all the items will cost less and you have a new gear to look up to.
My advice is to save them until next patch.

Personally I would just spend them :D Creation is about to become the new Verity, you'll easily pick up more of them and there won't be a weekly cap.
It's only a week, unless you're near cap you can just save them for next week. They don't always lower the cost of items, IIRC it didn't happen with lore gear, only esoteric gear, scripture is an oddball due to the expansion so it remains to be seen what they plan to do with creation, they either keep the gain as it is and lower the cost of items, or increase tomestone gain and keep the cost of items.
