Ok I read that three times and I can't figure out what the problem is.
This is not a malfunction. Certain abilities auto-upgrade. Please take a look at your Traits.
It is a feature we got in SB job changes. Every caster job and some others have skills automatically "upgrade" on certain levels. This is listed as a trait you get on the same level as you get the skill it upgrades to.
