Using Hori PS4 Mini for PC

I bought the Hori PS4 Mini and realized that the buttons were nothing like connecting a PS4 controller to my PC. I have tried calibrating it, but when pressing down the buttons on the controller, it didn't seem to react on the calibration. Has anyone used one of these yet on FF14 and if so, do you have any tips for how to get it to work correctly without having to completely reset all my hotbars and settings? Even a good download would be useful, if need be.
