Fish With Time Windows

For fish that have a time window (say 3:00am to 5:00pm), does it end the ability to catch that particular fish exactly at 5:00pm even if your line was in the water before 5:00 waiting on a bite?

Going back after some missing ARR big fish and was wondering because I had a successful mooch into a HQ fish to mooch again and hit the button on the second mooch about 2 minutes (server time) before the window ends. Did not get what I was after but could have been RNG since that particular double mooch has 3 outcomes.

Just curious if I had a chance or maybe to just end 30 server minutes before the end of the window if your not in the water already with the proper mooch.

the moment you cast your line is the time that it counts. so say from your example if you cast at 4:59:50 pm and you reel it in at 5:00:10 it counts as before the window ended.

All of your statuses (time, weather, Fisher's Intuition, etc) are snapshotted at the time you cast your line, so even if a buff wears off or conditions change, you still have that last chance to catch a specific fish.
