An idea for the achievement currency

edit: With the latest patch they have shown they wish to put mounts and minions in the achievement shop, i welcome this.

Or add more character costume glamours to the vendor because I have everything in there already from the old veteran rewards system... >.>

Add the option of buying Gold/Silver Chocobo Feathers with them

Assuming I'm not misunderstanding your intent as much as I would like this idea I feel this would defeat the point of achievements. I don't mean to come off as condescending here, but they're meant to be a mark of just that - what you've achieved. If you see someone flying around on the Centurio Tiger mount, then you know that person has hunted their butt off to get that thing. Giving people different means to earn it sort of negates that work.
I know a lot of people were upset when they changed the veteran rewards system because of the amount of time it took to earn those items means very little now. I hope SE will add more items to the achievement shop, but as far as the ability to complete achievements I don't think it would be very fair.

may-haps i didn't help by being generous in my example with the ADS mount but lets say you did 199 matches and won but for your next 20 matches you couldn't get that lastvictory, and now the queue times are hitting the extreme end of days worth of hours, you could spend the unused currency to basically get that last victory, the achievement is still there, but it helps with content that gets infamously difficult to do.



to be truly honest i just want a use for the currency it is sitting there and taunting me since i have all the vet rewards.

and i know quite a bunch people who are quite annoyed by how impossible it becomes to do anything for some achievements.

Absolutely not. Buying achievements is cheating. But if we could buy fantasia with achievement points.......(I really want one more)
