New player searching for ingame friends

I dont know if this is the right place to post this but here goes anyway :D

I currently live in Japan but i only know how to speak english. By any chance here have friendly communities who costream or raid call and do things together in game. I currently have monk yet apparently fell in love with red mage. I started playing around november 2017. Ive always been a fan of Final fantasy game franchise [Final fantasy type 0 the most], played various MMO but i had a bit of limelight in the moba community called DotA so i stopped. Ive been searching for MMO's from the famous ones / trending / established yet i grew bored of them all then my husband told me to try this game so i did and right now im clocked in 652 hrs, i play via Steam (PC) using an Xbox controller. I play usually in daylight and i never stay up late night because i like to keep my body clock proper sleeping time. If it would be alright i would love to expand my circle here

You can try to post in this thread: Make-a-Friend-Megathread or make a "party" in Party Finder with the "Looking for friends" headline. I'm not on your server but on the same Data Center, there are a lot of nice people around, I even met one from Asura yesterday but he hardly speaks English ^^.
But frankly, if you are looking for the English speaking community, Elemental Data Center and especially Tonberry server has much more choice than Mana and Gaia.

If you don't mind switching servers, you can try Tonberry server.

Tonberry is under elemental (JP data centre) that contains plenty of English speaking players and free companies, a great number of them consist of players from AUS/NZ and SEA regions. Hope this helps :D

Apparently... i asked my friend he originally came from Tonberry then transferred to Asura he said that the server isnt that welcoming to newbies... i heard they have this thing like two mistakes = kick something like that.. most people are far strict in Tonberry. To be honest i still fail at raids couple of times and new to the mechanics of the game so getting into the details of what to do.
