Triple Triad Tournament Questions

Hey guys, two quick questions. I tried to Google but found nothing really helpful.

First during the last tournament I was queued for player tournament matches and a sprout came in and queued for tournament matches as well. I got the ding to join a match and could see their name on the following screen and hit accept then immediately was put back into queue with a message "<player> cannot play Triple Triad at this time."

This apparently confused the sprout too who continued to queue over and over again and we got the same result until they just gave up and played the NPC. Is there a check based on deck strength? bad ping? sprouts can't play player matches in tournaments?

Second what are the odds (open ended question I know) of getting a 5* from platinum packs? Are we talking like warrior of light from gold pack odds or something a bit less extreme? Past four tournaments I got 3 packs each and got two Ultimate Weapons and TEN Shiva cards lol.

Ya usually get mass amounts of lahabrea and ultima weapon.

Wonder as well how the tournament queue works.

FF Characters from platinum packs are about 0.1-maybe 1-2% drop from plat packs i think. The other tournament packs (spinner, etc) can also reward the ff char cards too. I got a Firion via that method.

There is no checks on decks strength. Or win rate.

Come to think of it, the appearance rate of Nanamo is slightly higher than that of the other 5-star cards in the Platinum pack from my experience.
