The new gear is for the tournament pvp?

The gear is likely the new sets purchaseable with Wolf Marks. Since there's going to be a new map, there's going to be a preseason, and so there's been no word of season 7's prize yet. Plus any Feast reward glamours are usually universal.

As for the new Light Party Feast, it will work similar to Aether League: You can create a team of 6, your main 4 and 2 alternates, but matches will still be 4v4 format.

I am hesitant about the new "specialized group chat" function.

Please let it be normal chat just restricted to our teammates.
