Idea for a Viking Class

Uhm... Hi everyone. I've been playing the game for about two weeks now but it feels as though there's not really a variety of Tank based classes. They all look amazing and are fun to play but I can't really find myself wanting to play them. So I thought up a class that I might actually play... A Viking class.

The Viking class would be a change of pace for most Tank mains out there. It would be centered around team based combat and dealing AoE damage to multiple enemies at once. Though, unlike the Paladin or Dark Knight out there, The Viking class has extremely low DPS against multiple enemies at once. The class won't be as tanky compared to the other Tanks within Final Fantasy VIX as to bring balance upon the Viking class I am trying to create, so to further balance it, I would suggest an armor specifically for the Viking to make it less resilient to damage than the Paladin yet more protective than a Dragoon.

Starting on the abilities, I'd like to add a function much like the adrenaline gauge to the Viking. From using the Viking's abilities and attacks, a "Strong Arm" gauge will fill up. And when it does, the Viking is able to perform a Critical Hit with a special AoE attack that say... Triples the attack to a targeted enemy and Doubles the attack of other enemies around that target. (I'm not good with scaling) This is to make up for it's low attack and keep with the one handed axes I remember from FFXII. I would also like to add a few AoE abilities that can add affects to the targets they hit like; Stun, poison, Blind, etc. That way the developers can make the class PvP viable and a little more effective...
