While my chocobo is leveling to 50, if I get a stat to 500, will the game continue to try and put stats into a 500 skill even though its maxed out (thus wasting potential stat increase) or will it ignore the 500 stat and spread the stats you get from lvling up into non-500 stats?
If you have a stat maxed, it will automatically choose a non-maxed stat to randomly allocate points into. Assuming you are using grade 3 food, you want to wait until the bird's stats are within a multiple of 15 (what the food adds) of 500 to pump the points into, so you don't waste any feedings or level-ups in evening it out.
