Open Invitation to Seal Rock (Seize)

With news that arguably the best PvP mode FFXIV ever had - Seal Rock (Seize) - getting a new map hopefully in the near future, I would like to invite all players, new and old, to the current map/mode to become familiar with it, and for any who never tried it to finally have a chance to do so!

First, here are the original patch notes that involve the basic rules of the mode. For a quicker take on it, the generator in Rival Wings currently works similar to the point nodes in Seize, or for those with no experience, the Nadaam competition of the Azim Steppe from the Stormblood MSQ was quite similar to a Seize match, but with just one scoring point.

Here are some important bits of information for anyone curious:

• Yes, XP, relevant tomestones for your level of progress in game, and Wolf Marks are awarded from the mode.
• As it is a Frontlines mode, it is still a 3 way battle between the GCs.
• Victories while under Frontline Freelancer rules still count for the GC you actively belong to.
• All Frontlines achievements except those that are Shatter-specific are obtainable through Seize.
• All Garo mounts and achievements are obtainable through Seize.

News that Seize is getting updated is rather exciting, and rather than wait, I encourage all players that enjoy PvP in game to get in and give it a try, or try it for the first time, in anticipation of the new map!
