Top community wishes for the new year

So since I managed to get into the game when the new year begane I figured we should do something fun. Let's look at what the community, or at least the english speaking community, wants the most for the game this year. I tried to pick the most popular options. If there weren't any I just added my own.

New race

Viera
Surprised? Of course not. They have been a very popular request ever since it was mentioned that Yoshie-P considered them for the Heavenward. With the ammount of support it has, their inclusion is a matter of when rather than an if.

Lupin
It is the year of the dog after all. And Lupin are quite a popular choice. They are humanoid but have enough beastly features. They are fully sentient and are not a beast tribe.

Ananta
Very little chance of us getting to play a one gender half snake beast person but it would be awesome.

New customization option

Third tribe
Needs very little explanation. It is a very popular request.

Butt slider
Pretty much THE request since 2.0 launches. It is here to stay untill it happens.

Age slider
Let us play as children tends to pop up as a request. It is unlikely to happen but would be loads of fun.


New job option

Dancer
Used to be the second most common request but now we have red mage so dancer is at the top. Come on, you know you want to kick ass with a pair of fans.

Geomancer
Another popular request and it also got plenty of buildup in Stormblood. If it would happen I wouldn't need to choose between east asian themed jobs and healing.

Blue Mage
Often requested. Potentially super weird job mechanic. Staple of the series. What not to love?

New PVP feature

Company vs Company
It might need proper battle ships crafted but let's be honest. Free Company PvP is a must

Open world PVP
Not a fan of it to tell you the truth but a lot of people are. And it IS weird that we have a single battle ring for duels for world pvp

Siege frontlines
Not a request just my idea. But let's be honest. Siege battlegrounds are awesome and the frintlines we have are way too similar.


Features

Blitzball
A constant request since swimming was announced. Like Viera and Dancer, it has to happen sooner for later if only to shut their fans up.

Ishgard housing
Requested since Heawensward and still not happening.

More grand companies
Another request that pops up regularly since we entered Ishgard

Forgotten character to return

G'raha Tia
Catboy of Baldesion with Allagan royal bood. Locked away and ignored.

Matoya
Sassy old lady. Knows a lot. Awesome music.

Black Ascians
We didn't see a new ascian since Igeyorhm. They used to troll us at every turn. Now the main villains have been reduced to Elidibus showing up in after credit scenes.

Collab event

Final Fantasy XV
It was promised and PC release comes soon

NieR: Automata
Because you are all thinking how much you want to **** 2B, right?

Kingdom Hearts III
It will come before the VII remake. It will be awesome. It could get us keyblade glamours and maybe even lightsabers.


Pick one out of each category.

For example for me it's: Lupin, Butt Slider, Geomancer, Siege frontlines, Blitzball, Matoya and NieR: Automata.

I will regularly count votes and update this post with it.

Speaking for what's left of the original (pre-4.0) PvP community, I hope SE pulls a "4.0 BRD" with PvP overall.

Cross-role glamour on gear bellow a set lv, at lest on "crafted" gear, as long as u have the classes high enouf (like can only glam Tank crafted gear on a non tank class as long as u have 1 tank class that lv), basicly a Glamour request that I've not only herd a lot (with variable versions) but can agree & want.

Unlocking the ability to glamour anything onto any class would definitely be the top point for a LOT of people(I really want the level 63 - pretty sure that's the leather jacket with white shirt - gatherer jacket on my MCH!!!)

Here's my responses to each of them, with extra additions (with explantion) for some parts

• Viera (because while I wouldn't play it most likely, the demand really is there. Though dependent on how nice the glamours will look on it, may consider it)
• Third tribe
• Dancer (and make it a healer please, I want a healer that incorporates TP into their skills, perhaps as a hybrid like Paladin/DRK which use a mix of TP and MP, it would be unique in that regard, while probably still relatively easy to balance)
• No comment on PvP
• Ishgard housing (instanced, we need SOME instanced housing it seems)
• I'd say G'raha Tia but then again, that's a side-story specific thing, so he's probably done and dusted. But it'd be nice for him to come back.

But Geomancer is effectively White Mage, only in Kugane. How would you make it different?

I asked the same actually when it was first suggested (before we saw them in Othard). They seem to be a mix of geomancer and astrologian. It wouldn't be easy to do probably, but I trust Yoshie and co.

Also I forgot to add the collab event choice to the OP. It's there now.

Viera, Butt Slider, Dancer, Ishgard Housing, and best grandma Matoya.

Don't really about PvP or collabs.

Honestly, I hope they turn Stone into Banish for WHM is 5.0

What I would like to see:
2.0 jobs starting at lv 30 independent of existing classes. (A 5.0 thing)
Viera (5.0)
A butt slider
More interesting gear design
Eureka actually providing long term progression goals, even if only applicable to the content itself

Most importantly..... a better Moogle outfit.

Sadly, can't see a new race or job coming until 5.0 though it would be nice. Dancer would be my #1 request if it does happen followed by Ishgard housing and perhaps hurrying up the new relic quests in Eureka. I'm antsy to get started on it. Speaking of Eureka i'm really hoping it delivers and doesn't end up getting abandoned after a month. Relic I hope is generally comparable to whatever the next weapon tier is going to be. More crafting and gathering stuff would be nice as well. More recipes in specific.
