Looking for other people to play with / faster queues? Look inside!

Hey everyone! Being a huge fan of PvP I have noticed that ever since Rival wings came out, frontlines has been home to some longer than average wait times, especially at non-peak hours. Gone are the days of 2 minute queues and 24v24v24 battles. Even RW is now starting to take longer and longer to find games since people are getting their mounts and bailing out.

Well, I'm looking to alleviate some of these issues. I have created a Discord server that will eventually be home to my (soon to be made) guild on the Leviathan server, but is also going to be a hub for finding other people to PvP with. As of right now, there are only categories for Aether and Primal data centers, but if enough EU players show interest as well I don't mind creating separate categories for those.

What does this offer that Team Tryhard & Wolf Pups Den doesn't?

While I can't speak for WPD since I haven't been there, Tryhard generally is more focused on the Feast. Some of them do play the other modes, but the Feast is the primary interest there.

ThirdChild mentioned that Tryhard is focused on feast, and visiting WPD discord looks like it's the same thing. For players just getting into PvP I've noticed a lot of them tend to do Frontlines but are turned off by longer than average queue times; which we're trying to alleviate

There are a lot more discord servers out there solely focused on PvP that are not even publicized. I was a member of one Frontline Furries that was all of Primal and it started sometime in 3.x. I started a new one shortly after I moved to Hyperion called More Bacon (we all pvp as pigs). I don't think it is a bad thing to have more than just two discords as people may not like the leadership of xyz as each discord server has it's own culture.

If we want to have a healthy PvP community I think it is better the more discord servers and groups there are.

I know I'm exagerating but I kinda feel like Rival Wings is to PvP what the Lord of Vermillon is to Gold Saucer :p

Not completely, but I've noticed that queue times have increased to about 5-10 minutes lately. Update on the server though, slowly growing, got a few people in here tonight, hopefully we have our first group together by tomorrow!
