[Bug?] Zodiac Weapon - Last Resort

Steps:
1) I equipped the 'Last Resort' weapon, so I can do some "light" farming. I did Unsynced Alexander - The Fist of the Son via Party Finder. Finished the run but didn't get any light.
2) I used the Zodiac Glass and my screen goes black whenever I use it.

Iirc, the Last Resort relic is from the Zodiac relic line. Relics from the Zodiac line only attain light frim level 50 content, not 60. You would need the anima relic line to get light from Alexander.

Yeah the ARR relics do not gain light from doing HW content. You would be better off doing unsync runs of Tam-Tara I believe to build up the light, you can get about 48 points per run, 96 if there is a bonus. (You need 2000 points to complete the light stage).

Update: I tried doing Hullbreaker Isle unsync, but no light still.

are you sure you have a Mahatma with you, who isn't charged allready?

Ok, so I figured out why I'm not getting any light. it's because it's full already. I couldn't tell because of the Blacking out screen problem I am having.

Since this is the only thread I found on this topic when I googled it, I thought I'd leave a solution here for anyone who comes across this topic after me.

I was also stuck on whether or not my current Mahatma relic was full. I could have gone back to Swiftperch, but it was not an opportune time for me.

I've experienced graphic glitches like this in the past. If you are running Discord and have the Overlay enabled for FFXIV, disable it and check if you are still having the same graphics issue.

This fixed my problem of a black screen when using the Zodiac Glass. Hope it helps someone in the future.
