Armor Type

What kind of armor do we use? I know you start off with cloth but I figured we might get plate armor. Basically does Armorsmith do anything useful for me?

We get mostly everything besides full plate armor, so yeah, armorsmithing will probly help.

Right now the majority of our gear is made by Armorer. Head, body, hands and shoes are all metal. However, most of the pants in the game are made by Weaver and I don't think we can use any metal belts at level cap currently.

There is a lot of good Lancer gear that is made with Leatherworker. If your the type who doesn't mind sacrificing Defense for other stats Leather is a good way to go.
