If the night phase is gloomy on your monitor do this

Change your contrast up and it will make the night/moonlight shine through. It's a world of difference. Instead of everything looking gloomy and dark it looks bright and blue.
Really made me enjoy the day and night phase. Wish Square enix would give us these tips...really improves everything. Anyway enjoy!

I would love for them to adjust the lighting in this game. Maybe make the dusk/dawn hours stretch longer. To me, this game feels like it’s dark, overcast, or raining far too often.

The game had darker nights back in beta iirc. They changed it to Hollywood Darkness (like when TV shows ostensibly turn off the lights but you can still see perfectly fine) to improve overall visibility.

You might find turning off character lighting will do a lot for your night time immersion too.
Unfortunately, all monitors are not created equal, the sky was always lovely on mine :3
