Will the road to 60 buff go away if I do a world transfer?
Road to 60 lasts for 90 days after character creation (since the lastest patches) and is given to newly created characters on New and Preferred worlds.
Characters created on a New or Preferred world cannot be transferred to another world until at least 90 days have passed.
Your question is moot - if you have the Road to 60 buff you will not be able to transfer anyway.

It stays until 90 days after creation- though as mentioned you arent able to transfer until 90 days have passed.
A little off topic- does anyone else think they should make it more obvious that it last 90 days? For example when you hover over the icon in game it has a (90 days remaining) or something. I feel like they should provide more information about it in game for new or players starting on different servers to see. (unless I missed something)
I was (probably mistakenly) under the impression that the buff did not only last 90 days, it just lasts 90 days from creation IF the world loses its preferred status. So say a world became preferred and you created a character there on that same day. If that world were to maintain preferred status for 200 days (random number), your character would keep the road to 60 buff on any under 60 classes for that whole time, but as soon as the world lost preferred status you would lose the buff. So basically I was under the impression that the 90 day thing was only to ensure that a new character would get at minimum 90 days of the buff even if the world lost preferred status quickly, but not necessarily a hard cap of 90 days.
But even if I am right about that and you still were to have the buff once your ability to transfer comes up after 90 days, I would imagine it would go away upon transfer to a regular world.
In the hypothetical case where the 90 day lockout on transfers expired before the road to 60 buff expires I'd guess that you would lose the buff upon transfering to a non-preferred world.
In the event of transfering from one preferred world to another you might get to keep the buff for however long the destination stays a preferred world.
I created a character on a preferred world in September and it has the buff yet for all the battle and crafting jobs under lvl 60.
Though the buff is gone when you transfer out of a preferred world.
