Is there a way to compensate for MCH lack of support?

I am curently in a static party completeing end game content.
When I asked how I could up my DPS or asist the team further I was told that I couldn't, though BRD wile holding 100% songs up could keep a crit hit buff up. As a MCH I can only debuff the enemy for 20sec with my hypercharge.

I have no problem keeping up with 90% of BRD in DPS terms after some of the most recent patches but find that I am unable to contribute anywhere near as much with support. I dont want to swich my main to BRD or RDM but it seems like the only option I have left if I wish to optimise my output in both DPS and support.

Has anyone found a salution to this?

you might need a guide if you to boost your DPS then practice it on SSS.it pending on comp too if you don't have DRG MCH & BRD cant properly have bigger numbers.

MCH has a higher personal DPS (~200) and Hypercharge (around 27 seconds every 2 mins), which can outweigh the 2% Crit-rate buff, especially in parties with no or less Crit depending Jobs.

Mch does not lack any kind of support.

While Brd does in fact have more support (especially defensively) mch has been buffed to a point they can be considered overpowered in the right circumstances. If you manage to play your Mch perfectly and have to right team comp, you will benefit a lot from the fact that the brunt of your dmg is put in 10 sec exactly every minute.

You should coordinate with your Ninja at the least to make sure Trick is always up during WF. You will see some crazy numbers that way and still provide good raid damage plus dismantle and songs.

Than just don’t switch. I wouldn’t change my main for anything even not when it’s bottom place in meta. Mch actually is in a good spot. You shouldn’t see what u can’t do but master the tools u can do. And most important: play what’s fun for u not for your static.

You shouldn't need to have to swap jobs from machinist. It has greater utility than every other dps job not named bard and its personal damage is so high that you really shouldn't ever need to swap from the job. If you are running into issues with how the job is performing for you and within your group, odds are those same issues will be present on any other job you bring in to raid. So best thing to do would be to look up some more info and practice things on your end. Then just work up communication within your group to help be efficient both as an individual player and as a group.

If you’re falling behind your bard, there’s probably some tweaks you can make to your rotation. What’s your ping like and how are you structuring your rotation and wildfires? What’s your party comp?

oky so here is a good question(s) first and kinda stupid does Overload Turret help with DPS in the WF roation? and second is it better to wait untill you have Overload Turret ready to do your WF combo?

Turret damage is not incorporated into your wildfires, so Overload doesn’t pack more damage into it.

However, you’re ideally starting your Hypercharge to maximize the amount of heated shots used, so it should end at the same time as your wildfire ends. Since the Hypercharge damage boost affects Overload, you should be using Overload inside that window, but at the end of it to maximize the buff time. The damage buff lingers for a couple seconds after your turret explodes depending on server ticks.

So, start Hypercharge 18-20 seconds ahead of when you start Wildfire and use Overload just before the Hypercharge damage buff expires.

I'm not sure if your "support" only mean rdps buff but imo, Dismantle is valuable support ability.

Also MCH's personal dps is higher than BRD.
