I think it would be a good idea to not only be able to preview Mogstation (clothing) items in-game, but be able to purchase items as well.
The problem is, I don't know which outfit to get for the holidays. I may be getting multiple ones, or I may end up as an adorable reindeer.
Having an in-game Mogstation will make it easier to buy things (not having to log in), and make better, more informed purchasing decisions (previewing items on MY character).
I wouldn't mind having an in-game try-on shop for all the outfits that are on Mog Station. Some i would like to be able to try on and customise with other things before deciding to buy them. At the moment it's just a matter of asking other players in-game if they have said outfits and try them that way.
Not for me. I get the convenience it offers but I'd rather micro-transactions be kept away from the game as much as possible. In the other MMOs I have played, integrating a micro-transaction system in the game itself often leads to a much more elaborate cash-shop system.
God I wish there was a dressing room for mogstation in game. Hoping that someone who has the shoes from that one set you're on the fence about sees you asking for a link in /area instead of just being able to try on the item yourself is kinda awful. Its not so bad on my main since Balmung's hubs are pretty much mogstation catalogs, but my alts on other servers have it rough.
I kind of like that the mogstation marketing is kept out of game...
I also wouldn't mind easy ability to preview the mogstation items...
I like this idea but we would have to accept 1 less dungeon per patch for them to make this new content... oh.... we already have 1 less dungeon already...
I would like a list of mog station clothes to preview in game just like we can preview dyes. Like a vendor with no currency options. But I don't want them to waste development time on figuring out how to integrate money transfers into the game.
I'd love this too, be nice to preview the hairstyles also.
I would rather they not dedicate resources toward this, and rather on content my sub pays for.
Provided it was implemented in a non-intrusive way, I'd like it since some things just don't go with the ideas I had in my head. Perhaps a preview option could be added to the Aesthetician or a new summoning bell of sorts that lets us preview all glamour and simply lists where it's available; i.e. "Randomly dropped from The Drowned City of Skalla" or "Purchased from the Mogstation." The latter option would at least be nice in allowing us to try on any outfit in the game even if we don't actually own it yet.
