Hello i have the steam version of ff14 and HW but i got a hard copy of stormblood
and i guess i can't use it with steam. Is there a way for support to trade my hard copy code out for a steam one?
Or did i just get rip out of $40? They need to put not compatible with steam on the box it self.
Sorry, but you're out of luck. You can try and refund it, but if you've opened the box they probably won't accept it back.
If you buy the game on Steam you have to buy all expansions on Steam (and vice versa).
It's sad i can't just walk into a store and buy a game/dlc and go home and play it without jumping on forms and web pages to see if its compatible, Its the same game for crying out loud.
All codes should work no matter where you bought it from, If they are going to go that far then why don't they split apart steam community from square enix community.
@worldofneil tried that it's a no go and tried square-enix support they are the same.
(sorry for my rant just really pissed off)
