Steps:
1. Equip Gauss Barrel
2. Increase Heat Gauge to 50+
3. Use Heated Split Shot or Heated Slug Shot on target (in this case training dummy)
4. Exit combat
5. Use the command /gpose (in this case with the character facing East and the camera facing West).
6. Have the animation of the aforementioned ability play (as the last used ability)
7. The animation points to the North, but is still located properly as targeting the camera. Example included:
