Solo Grinding Spots/Leveling Questions

Heya guys, I just got back into this game couple days ago and definitely enjoying my journey so far. I look around and noticed there is no solid guide on where to level other than grind to 30ish and do leves and party, but I was wondering if anyone can recommend some specific grinding spots or leveling techniques for level 18~30. Any recommendations will be greatly appreciated, thank you!

There are quite a few good spots for soloing, although I must say I am most familiar with thanalan and I will try my best to get x's and y's correct.

The main reason there are no good guides out there is that SE has a tendancy to tinker with mob locations with each update so what was once a good camp can be dismantled (eg marmots around Horizon used to be great for soloing but they have all but disappeared). The nice thing is they are trying to add new camps all time too.

lvls 1-3ish just kill directly outside the city, mobs are easy and low lvl enough
there are lvl 4-6 chigoe east of Black Brush 25,28 (just take care for aggro)
there are lvl 7ish spriggan around 26,22
lvl 10 Nutbiters reside borth east of black brush around 23,28
lvl 11-14 Dodo are north of Drybone at 23,38
lvl 15 dodo are around the entrance to Nanawa Mines and 15-18 Dodo are at Drybone 23,39
lvl 18-20 (I think) cactuars run around 28,12 near camp horizon
lvl 21-24ish cactuars are near there as well but idr exact spot
lvl 27-29 cactuars are in the 28,9 area

It really is just about take a run around the map quick and seeing what mobs work best for your job. Puks (which are found alot around Limsa Lominsa and in Nanawa Mines) go down easy, spriggan are a little resistant to magic so not great for mages, beastmen can hit a little harder and so on. The cactuar camps I listed above are great for pts and you can go to the lvl 20 cactuar camp as low as lvl 13-14 in a pt.

There are most likely better areas but what I listed are basic areas. The areas around Limsa seem to be the best for soloing imo with an ubandance of mobs of all lvls and few little compition outside from the annoying rmt doing leves (u can run anywhere in La Noscea on my server and spot 7 lalafell drones with a Hyur).

I would say try to put a pt together and always have your flag up. At lvl 30 leves start getting more worthwhile imo but there are great solo/pt camps around Nophica's Wells too for pts starting around lvl 25.
