is it just me, or u cant do lvl 50 primae/ raid anymore in group finder?

i was form yesterday a dungeon group to kill ramuh extreme for a cousin.

i was write something like:
Ramuh extreme sync, know wahts to do.

well. we wiped all and one said "wow, sync is so hard"

i just think, why the fking hell u kill a lvl 50 boss first time with lvl 70? its so useless. you dont know even wahts to do and mean the boss is fking easy and join a sync group while all you did do before is kill it on lvl 70. sure the game has to be more casual when people can kill ramuh in 30sec with lvl 70 and dont learn the mechanics.
first kills should alltime be synced. i dont even get why SE allow player to do unsync. its so useless^^ its maybe good for farm, but when u know the strat its killed in 5min too with lvl 50.

Do first kills only avaiable for lvl 50. when killed a "farm modus" for lvl 70.

Yoshi-P himself encouraged people to try the HW primals when SB came out now that we can run them unsynced, so I really doubt you're getting your wish. This option exists for the precise reason of making content more accessible once its original, more hardcore population no longer needed it, and I'm grateful they did that.
The problem here isn't that people cleared those things first time on level 70s or even 60s, the problem is that they were, shall we say, misguided for thinking it would still be facerolled when synced. But that's really not on the game but the players.

The problem is there is no benefit to anyone for doing a synced content. anyone who has run that has to deal with the possibility of extra wipes and longer fight times. It's not something that a lot of players want. That's why when we got unsycned that content was being run a lot more often

Even at level 70 some of the bosses require you to slow down and go through the mechanics. However I am well past the point of running the older content for anything other than mount/minion farming or Wondrous Tails and wouldn't do them at all if I couldn't go unsynced.

While I personally enjoy running a lot of the older primals at the level they were intended to be ran, I am most definitely in the minority there. There aren’t a lot of rewards or incentives for running ARR or even HW primals synced down to the appropriate level. The only things people get out of it is the nostalgia of the challenge—a lot of players that weren’t playing when the primals were relevant have never done them synced at all because there’s just no reason to when you can unsync them, unless they want the challenge of doing them at the appropriate level.

As for Ramuh, he can be a huge you-know-what at level 50. Even with players being level 70 synced down, they have to be really careful not to push him (easy to do when you’re just synced to max level 50 ilvl), or else he does his ultimate early and wipes the entire raid. Something people still try to push through when running them in unsynced WT or pony farms, so they are most definitely going to continue that behavior synced. Plus, players don’t have their level 51-70 skills, and as someone who did Titan Ex briefly with some people a couple nights ago at minimum ilvl for shits and giggles (I mean, we didn’t get far but it was entertaining), that’s a huge adjustment to make sometimes. Especially when you’re used to playing the job at 70.

There are people out there that enjoy synced down challenges; but they can be difficult to find because, again, why do the content synced when you can just unsync it and, more or less, blow through it? If you really want to get a synced clear for your cousin—or just run content synced down in general for the nostalgia/challenge—I would suggest forming some sort of FC, LS, or Discord for it (there actually may be a Discord but I’m not sure). I don’t think SE is going to make first clears count only if you do them synced, especially since they have repeatedly said they don’t want to go back and work on older content (looking at you, ARR hunts that die when a level 70 player just looks at them). And while SE is the king of setting arbitrary blocks/limitations, I just don’t see them implementing this one.

Reason why some folks clear EX content and others unsynced is because they give their bonus tomes to their friends farming them for relic weapons. Nothing wrong with that. What's wrong is signing up for EX duties not knowing the fight at all when it's not a learning party. If you use party finder for unsync, put a brief description on what your expectations are so people know what they're signing up for. Good luck on the next ones.

There is, in fact, a Discord. It's called Eccentricity, and I run it. There may be others, but this game's lack of crossworld socializing makes it difficult for me to know.

Eccentricity is based on Aether and has daily events, mostly focusing on old content, but we are also about breaking the meta in others ways besides avoiding the mainstream faceroll. For example, I run my roulettes every day as freeform roulettes, allowing any role to join, and we try to clear the dungeons we roll with whatever we have.

We have roughly 100 members now, and are actively recruiting more all the time.

For the Chaos datacentre, we also have "The Old Skool LS" which is based on Louisoix but is cross-realm. We love tackling old fights synced. We're even gonna be doing Savage Coil synced.

Unsync exists exactly to let you run old content without all the effort needed to run it when it was actual content. All that effort has moved to latest raid tier, that is the place you want to go for your "improvement".

Unsync makes possible for everyone read all the story locked behind Coil, just to give an example. No need to force everyone to learn how to beat T5 or deal Rot in T2 (pretty sure 90%+ of people today still fail on it if have to).

And still today, if you want feel how it was hard to beat the old content, you still have the option to do it "the old way", setup MIN IL and have fun there.

Aside from your language, I question this. Nobody can kill Ramuh EX in 30 secs. That's suicide. Go ahead and push him past half his HP, watch your entire unsynced lvl 70 party get completely pwned. Same with Ifrit EX...hell, you have to trust that the MT doesn't push Ifrit to his enrage before you kill all three sets of nails, or Leviathan EX kills you all because you don't have enough for the shield on the boat. Garuda EX is similar if you don't separate her adds, because that's more defense and less damage. You are still doing mechanics. Mayhaps you want to re-think this topic and rewrite what you said.
