About Cloud's Bike

We haven't heard anything about or seen Cloud's bike since Heavensward. Do you think SE might give it to us via event or in a campaign like the Falcon Mount? I would love to ride a bike while wearing Cloud's glamour.

they said they are not adding it ages ago. it was teased to showcase a person work it was never going to be added.

Exactly, it was a joke made by one of the artists and was never intended to be added to the game as a mount. Yoshi specifically mentioned it as so. To say nothing of it not even fitting FFXIV's setting.

Also, really the bike couldn't even appear in Eorzea anyway as it's technically destroyed towards the end of Dirge of Cerberus, but I think most players would ignore that anyway. ;)

It will not happen. (I will not say it will never happen cause who knows but most likely no)

the bike in question is pretty huge its a double wheel race bike. think the race bike from kill bill, then rope two together. the fact that cloud had the split capability to even mount it is a shock. it wouldn't really fit size wise in most zones, not to mention the clipping the wheels would do on rocks. the falcon mount only gets by because its tiny, and ppl already complains on their feet clipping through the mount.

People are never going to let this die, are they?

It honestly would not surprise me if the underlying reason they added the Falcon mount (that new mini-airship looking thing) just to get people to shut up about that motorcycle.

If anything it will be on Mogstation rather than a free in-game mount.

Or it will be a new veteran reward for being subbed 6+ months in a row or heck probably 12 months in a row.

While I get that this isn't Yoshi's reason of not adding the bike to the game, this is still a really weak excuse. We have an entire empire that specializes in making mechanical things, the Garlean Empire.
