Changes to summoner class

Right now Summoner doesn't feel like a summoner, more like a ruin mage who can also summon.

I would rather have my spell more focused on pet damage and pet abilities than speed spell spamming.

Changes to be more like summoning Bahamut, powerful but temporary summoning attack spells. Honestly, i wouldn't even mind not being to summon a permanent pet for more temporary ones.

Same with the DOTs if they were an effect of a summoned attack creature and such it would make summoner feel like a summoner.

I mean, Summoner in FFXIV is a ruin mage who also summons because they use summons for tech and supplemental DPS while being able to hold their own.

Because that's what FFXIV summoner is.

A ruin mage who can also summon.

This is the number one complaint and comment since ARR. Please join existing SMN thread discussions to talk about it. All jobs been adapted to fit in a MMO system, why is that so hard to understand?
