FF11 Battle Theme

Since it plays during the first 3 FATEs from The Maiden's Rhapsody, wouldn't it be neat if we could get it as an event Orchestrion Roll? It also makes me wonder if I would've enjoyed FF11 XD

Edit: Themes that play during the event: Battle Theme (Bloodshore, Haukke Manor, and Sagolii Desert FATEs) and Battle Theme #2 (Final FATE in Upper La Noscea)

Just gimme all of FFXIs music via Orchestrion rolls please.

More music is better as far as I’m concerned. I’d love to see it as an Orchestrion roll

Which one? There was actually two FFXI battle themes used in that event - Battle in the Overworld #1 for the first three FATEs, and Battle in the Dungeon #1 for the final FATE (and that's not including Recollection which plays during the cutscenes in the event).

Unfortunately, as the event didn't feature orchestrion rolls offered as a reward the first time the event was run (and the earlier Shantotto-themed event happened long before the Orchestrion was even added to the game), and as SE did not add any new rewards to this event for it's second run, this most likely will not change in the future sadly.

even ff14 has ff11 music XD

i don't see why not. Unless uematsu(sp) has a hard copyright on his music (he might) i don't see an issue. I just wish they did both events from ff14. Or at least sold the shantatto minion.

Nobuo Uematsu only composed a couple of tracks for FFXI though (the opening movie track Memoria di la Stona, the main theme song Distant Worlds, the self titled medieval style zone theme Ronfaure, and the many variations of the chocobo theme.). Everything else in FFXI's OST was almost exclusively the work of Naoshi Mizuta, with some tracks by Kumi Tanoika.

FFXIV 1.0's OST was actually the first FF game Uematsu actually composed a 'full' soundtrack for since FFIX (at least at first, after Yoshi became producer Soken was promoted to Sound Director and started to take the role of main composer as well).

Either way, SE did mention that due to IP issues, it is in fact difficult to feature tracks from other FF games (including FFXI) in the Orchestrion in FFXIV, but it's not impossible, it just takes time to clear the legal hurdles before they can do that.

It would be really nice to have FFXI music put in the game :) Oooh I want the FFXI Alexander theme! :o

I'm more fond of the 1st battle theme personally but I guess both would satisfy players wanting them XD

If they do I want them to increase the amount of songs that you can put on a playlist. I'm already full from 1.0 music :/
