Palace of the Dead and DC Issues - Can We at Least Get a Compromise?

I really think the developers need to come up with a compromise to Palace of the Dead so as to not ruin solo attempts if you get DCed. Yes, I get somebody might figure out a way to "abuse" any DC forgiveness system, but at the moment I can't think of anything other than resetting an encounter you were about to die in, which would essentially be like using a pomander to revive anyway. Just make it so if you DC too many times in a set of floors, it treats it as abuse and you get reset. If you're smart and DC once, you'll stop going in and wait for the servers to clear up. Maybe adding a once every 24-hour save at any floor if you DC grace (or restarting the entire 10 floor set with a full 60 mins) could be the compromise. Just had my PotD Solo attempt end do to a DC on stream now, so needing to vent and offer up suggestions.

The d/c rule is pretty stringent. I feel maybe they should loosen up on it after someone finally clears 200.

Well, not right now, but I will be attempting to do it as WHM (like I did for 1-100 achievement) eventually. Basically from everything I've seen, it's not doable as a healer at the moment, so waiting for the nerfs/adjustments to happen (like what happened for the 1-100 achievement when I believe nobody could do it under the original settings).

I was merely trying to get a save file to 101-110 in prep for when those adjustments eventually happen and can make a serious go at it. Also I haven't really done PotD solo attempts seriously since last year when I was practicing and eventually did the 100 solo one, so I'm a bit out of practice.

But yea, as long as these DDoS attacks keep affecting NA servers and the servers in general are wonky, I've been too nervous to even do the 1-100 part. I was doing 10 floors a week on random days where things were fine, and all yesterday my connection seemed good despite the reports, and halfway through 31-40 got DCed and lost it all.

Another suggestion could be to allow people who have the 1-100 achievement to just start solo on floor 101? I'd take that at least.
