End game Crafting quests

Hey all, so i read the new Yoshi-P interview and there was a question relating to having cool things for crafters to do at endgame other than just grind gil and it reminded me of something i talked to a friend a while ago about.

In the MSQ we go to a run down area in the lochs, my idea was what if we got to help renovate area's in the New zones and bring them back to their glory, we have already done something similar in HW with the moogles but what i propose is something closer to FC projects where you have to Gather and craft items and turn them in to help repair the settlements and as we hit milestones the area's improve.

The rewards could be unique Minions and mounts or high end housing/glamour recipes that can only be obtained by the crafters that put in the work and are untrade-able so you cant get the super nice glamour or housing item from the MB, this would give endgame crafters their versions of endgame raid weapons. Crafter bragging rights.

Your Thoughts?

I think this would be really cool, I personally would love to help clean up some of the war torn areas! :D If we got some cute items or achievements that would be awesome too. :)

Thats basically what happened with the Moogle quests helping rebuild that place. So assuming something might happen again with the Ananta this expansion.

I agree it would be nice if we could rebuild certain bridges etc.

I thought the Ananta were already expected to be a battle class beast tribe.

However... Doma is in even worse condition than Ala Mhigo, and we do have the Namazu set up in the area. I wouldn't be surprised if that beast tribe is involved in rebuilding the city.

I just used the area in the lochs as a example because imagine rebuilding doma castle and getting access to glamour reserved for the royal family and housing items themed for a doman palace or a doman chariot pulled by tigers as a mount, hell they could go crazy and give us guest quaters like big apartments once you have fully repaired the place

Id like them to be more work to complete than the moogle quests, maybe some high difficulty special items with difficulty similar to or harder than the current 320 crafting gear so that only the dedicated crafters get these rewards, with XIV having the most in depth crafting system of any game i have played it seems a shame not to do something creative with it

The Ananta are goldsmith crafters though basically, but we'll see I guess
