Free Balmung and Gilgamesh

Dear Square Enix,
I have been a paying customer of this company since april of 2005. To prove such my Account Id for Xl is ABGT8786. I was known as Primus of Shiva. I played this game till jan 30th of 2013. I oddly enough picked up this game XIV in April of 2014. I have often applauded the ways and treatment of players in this game compared to Xl. But since the release of Stormblood. The damn near forced migration of players has turn my server of Balmung and Gilgamesh into wastelands. I propose a few steps to allow open these said servers. Prehaps even level off some of the Aether data center issues.
1. On all congested worlds allow no more then 3 Characters per account. I know a few players and I am only one person with 4 or more still on my server of balmung. This will free up some spots. To be honest some of these alt characters have not been logged in weeks sometimes months.

2. If people want to come to a congrested server make them pay double. I believe this cost 18 usd. Make these players pay 36 usd. Use it as a penalty or deterrent. Also keep the free transfers to peferred worlds going as well. But Id make it where if you leave a congested world you cant come back for six months.

3. I'm a fc leader of close to 100 players but I've noticed that 10-12 of these players havent logged in in over 4 months. In which if they own a house they would've lost close to three times over. I propose making a cloud of some sort to put these said players so they dont count against the server. Also players that haven't played the game in a year should have to recover their account from square enix. Sort of like when a player deletes their account and wants to come back later. They go threw a process to get the player back.

Number of characters per player does not matter. Number of inactive accounts do not matter either. So your proposals would not help at all.

What matters are the number of active players (or number of simultaenously active characters if you prefer.)

When counting the total number of characters (active and inactive) Balmung actually has one of the lowest counts of all servers. This is due to it being closed for character creation for so long which means it has far fewer "throw-away" characters than other servers.

4. I had a friend on Hyperion that I spoke to on sunday around 8pm est. She refered to Primal's Party finder as "Garbage". Said their was hardly anything on it which I'd think is a peak hour. I'd propose sending Gilgamesh to Primal and giving Aether a smaller server in it's place. The reason I say Gilgamesh is because Mateus is another Rp server it would make sense not to seperate them from balmung data center.This will help the players party finder, as well as balance both data centers so we dont get a repeat of what players call "Raubahn EX" ever again.

In closing I'd like everyone to tell everyone "Thank You!" for reading this. If you reply back and make this post grow, I'd appreciate it! I have friends that would love to start playing this game but wont because they cant get to my server. I know I cant be the only one. New players means more money to Square.

So if this is the case why is it closed?

1. The number of characters on an account is irrelevant since only one can play at a time. Also the storage space is quite small for character data so that hinders nothing.
2. The paid subscription is already a deterrent, its also not working as evidence by the current situation. Increasing the price wouldn't change anything.
3. Inactive accounts aren't the problem with Balmung and Gilgamesh, doing this would only antagonize players and not fix anything.
4. I don't even know what your point is but changing the data center for either Gilgamesh or Balmung doesn't change the problem with the server itself. Also, one persons opinion on the party finder being garbage is irrelevant because there's no factual data to prove anything.

Balmung and Gilgamesh are closed because there are too many players playing on it regularly and it has become too taxing on the hardware. By all accounts, both servers have shrunk and aren't as overpopulated as they used to be but they are still beyond what SE wants them to be at. Until more people leave the servers they will stay locked.

Also, you can edit your posts to bypass the 1000 character limit.

If thats the case why is it except housing. I've never seen the player queue higher then 25 for me to get in? But Mateus a open world its been double on more then 2 occasions in the last two weeks?

hmmm cross server queues you do are aware that has helped a lot. Each server is different and times high playing times vary.
