New, housing question
I'm very new to the forums, and I sincerely apologize If this is misplaced.
I'm looking to purchase a house/mansion in game, and was wondering if one could do so directly from another player, and if so, was there a thread specifically for that?
I'm in Primal - Exodus

Normal you just buy a house from clicking the sign outside of it if the plot is open..I don't know your server but im gonna assume its like the rest and houses are sold out..Players do resort from buying another players..kinda a grey area Se has stated people can be banned for selling a house for huge profits..
Best advice i can offer is to wait till the next patch 4.2 they will be adding more wards of houses and seems a new way for people to buy them

You can't buy and have a house directly transferred to you from another player.
My understanding is you give the player gil and then they relinquish the house. You then need to have the additional gil to buy the plot and build a house. I also believe the plot does not become available right away so you still need to camp it to be there when it goes on the market. If the player cheats or someone else buys the property you are stuck with no recourse on getting your gil back. I haven't tried to buy or sell a house outside of the mechanism provided by the game so my information is likely incomplete. Personally I think it is better to visit the wards often in the hopes you see a lot go up for sale. I know it seems impossible to find that one that way but you also don't have to worry about what happens if something goes wrong or the ethics of dealing with a potential RMT seller.

Agreed with Calviusnex and Siniztor. Don't buy from people who are flipping houses. Because one, you're going to end up paying double what the plot is worth. Like say people on Balmung - People try to flip a small house from anywhere between 25-30mil if not more depending on what area. The plot only costed them anywhere between 3-3.5mil this is depending on the class rank of the plot. So save yourself the trouble and don't buy it from another player. There also the risk that the player selling has been reported by other players and GM's could be watching to see if they get a large sum of gil and the house turned over. While it'll be their fault and they'll get in trouble for it, not to say that the buyer may get in trouble also. I don't know. It not worth the risk. In 4.2 there will be housing changes and while the information is vague at the moment, there may be some hope. It should only be a few months away.. maybe Feb/March area? Anyway, save up your gil! It'll be more rewarding buying a house from the sign outside then buying from another player. Plus, by that time you could have some extra gil in your pocket to fancy up that house with lots of housing items!

As the others have said, you can, technically, "buy" a house from another player. Except it's not really buying it from them. You are paying them a bribe to relinquish their plot (which they may or may not actually do after they have your gil) and then you have to pay again to actually buy the house from the server. Claviusnex is mistaken though, my husband recently quit the game and gave his house to a friend of ours, who was able to buy it immediately after he relinquished the land.
Be aware though that house flipping is a heavily frowned upon grey area. Some GMs will take action against house sellers and some won't. And you should know that if a house flipper takes your gil and runs off without giving you the house, a GM will do absolutely nothing to help you recover it.
I agree with the others, that your best bet is waiting for 4.2.

thanks for the advice everyone, I appreciate it.
I'll probably dedicate everything to farming Gil until then.

Also, buying a house-flipper's ill got goods is enabling the bad behavior. I'd wait if I were you and hopefully game changes will make a difference for those that can never get a house.

Housing should open up whenever they decide to take off the thing they have from the hurricanes in Florida/Texas, your next best bet is 4.2
