Summoner Idea
How the job could work is you start by using Aetherflow then you use the trance associated with the primal which each trance uses one stack of Aether. Once under the trance you can summon the primal. when the primal is summoned your hot bar then changes to primal actions in order to command the primal like how when riding certain mounts your hot bar changes the actions As for the trance it could work two ways the trance has a timer and as long as your under the effect you can command your primal but once the timer runs out the primal will instantly leave When activating the trance you'll get a Gauge and each primal action will empty the gauge and your primal can auto attack thus avoiding the depletion of the gauge to keep the primal out longer however whether a timer or gauge if you use the primals signature move this will automatically force the primal to leave As for dungeons change the demiBahamut size text command to change demiPrimal size to small or medium and large for soloing

I think they should focus on fixing current issues rather than trying to reinvent the wheel every expansion.

OP, please use periods and commas. I can't tell where one sentence ends and where another begins. It's difficult to read your post as is.
And SMN really doesn't need another playstyle overhaul.
-
I don't want more pet controls. It's hard enough getting contagion to to go off at the right time.
-
Sorry about that this is my first post, and I didn't know there was a limit of characters you can use
-
The Idea is to remove all actions save for the ruin spells, Painflare, and Aetherflow so contagion wouldn't be in Demi- Garuda's aresnal
-
That sounds extremely boring to play. Also, you can avoid the character limit by editing your post, it increases the maximum amount of characters to about 10k instead of 1k.
-
Please elaborate how would commanding a primal be boring

I'm talking more of the fact that your SMN's only non-primal skills would be Ruin II/III/IV, Aetherflow, Energy Drain, Painflare, and each Primal's Trance. Your suggestion does nothing but makes people spam Ruin even MORE between Primals. Does that sound like fun gameplay?
And what about the lower levels where you may not have any Primal Trances? Does spamming absolutely nothing but Ruin I and Energy Drain sound engaging?
I'm not considering the DemiPrimal because you haven't given any action ideas. How long can they last? What makes Ifrit different from Garuda or Titan? What are some example moves? What stops me from only using the DemiPrimal with the highest DPS?
One last thing; why must DemiPrimals need to be Large for solo content? Why can't I have them always be small?
