Housing Forecasts and observations

all I can say to people is if they want a house go make some gil so you can purchase a lot and remember the expense doesn't stop there you have to fabricate the furniture you want and decorations --and if you want one of the special houses you have to make it in your fc workshop. so owner ship is a lot of work.. it is my belief that if a person buys a house then they should be required to improve it. Buying a lot and leaving it empty just so you can resell it later is not right. I know of several people that are doing just that. They are buying lots with alts leaving them bare (just an empty house on the lot) so they can sell the lot at a ridiculous price later on. Also, if the developers just rubber stamp the existing housing in the 3 original areas like they did before and rotate two more times they can add another 60 houses per area giving another 180 houses available. and as far as prices go I think the existing prices are more than reasonable.

As somebody who won the great housing war of 2017....I fully agree.

It's quite frustrating having 'neighbors' with empty lots.

I won the great housing war too (albeit, got my second choice--and on Balmung, so that's not so bad). But I agree...my experience was just a stressful as everyone else's (staying up all night, taking time off from work (why should I have to do this for a chance at a feature in the game??), logging in at the right time, running...) and it's really stupid to see houses around me locked/empty.
I think I've seen some change hands too...it's disappointing.

They really need to adopt the "One house per account" policy by the time 4.2 drops.

That and address the cheaters so we don't have people using warp hacks and/or bots to get houses before everyone else does...again.

I don't mind locked houses. I lock my house constantly when I'm RPing in it. I don't need people coming in and seeing what weird stuff I'm up to!

I lock my apartment when i'm not letting people come in and see it...I'm a bit private about my decorating.

Also it's a good place to sit down and have private conversations when FC mates need to talk about stuff.

Are you just assuming the only reason devs don't add more houses is because they're just too lazy to copy/paste?
