Copying HUD layout

I am on PS4.

Anyone knows how to copy one character’s HUD layout to another char? Tks!

On PS4? No. I don't know that you can.

Unfortunately to my knowledge on PS4 we have to do it from scratch every time.

Unless you memorize the exact placement of the UI components you need to just try your best to replicate it. It's the same with PC as well.

a long complicated process


you need to get a flash drive/ exterior hdd. copy and paste the character settings to it, load them up on pc, copy the settings and retitle it the file of the character you want to copy over.

then load it back on t the ps4, think you need ps+ on top of that.

kinda sad ff11 had the ability to save settings on the p2/ps3 xbox, and reuse them on your other characters.

actually on PC all you need to do is copy the HUD file from where it is on your main and move it to the other character or backup file and you don't have to replicate it at all.

ya, op is on ps4 though. :/

I took a picture of the tv on my phone when I was on ps3 for hud layout, hotbar button placement (though that was basically thrown out the window for the most part when SE decided to remove abilities), and a couple of macros before I got a laptop to be able to keep playing before ps3 got the boot. Probably one of the only things you can do besides the flash drive option mentioned.

Which is way too convoluted and twisted already, if you think about it for a minute :( I can save my chara's look and reuse it so long as I don't lose the local files, and that's something the game supports out of the box. Why not stuff like that? I mean, chances are it's me playing it. I already set things the way I like them. Why not let us transfer it over?

Which one is the HUD( uisave?) file? I went to Documents and saw alot of files with CHR(random stuff) with dates. In each map are alot of files, one labeld addon, gearset etc, which one should I copy?
