Since Square Enix totally messed up one of my characters, following me buying a level 60 job upgrade, I can't get to Lims Lominsa or any of it's points that boats go to.
I need to get there to get carbonised matter for my level 20 guild quest. My airship pass was one thing that vanished along with all my aetheryte points. I need to travel a long way over water, and according to those I spoke to, it cannot be done without an airship or teleport.
How do I get to Limsa Lominsa from Gridania?
You could try the ferry from Vesper Bay in Thanalan. Other than that I don't know of anything else that connects to Limsa apart from airship.
If you don't have an airship pass, you can't use the ferry.
See now I remember using the ferry before I could the airship. Just get someone to join a party with you and port you? Will that work if going to a new unvisited place?
If you bought a job upgrade but not the MSQ one, then you need to complete the MSQ to a certain point before you use those things.
