20-30 min DPS Dungeon Qeues are too long.

Please do something. I got my healer and tank classes to 70. But now having to wait at least 20-30 min as a DPS to get into a roulette or a leveling dungeon is pretty much killing all my motivation to kepp playing.
Also Fates are useless now , maybe make fate partys relevant again?

Things you can do without a queue: Dailies, Hunts, Squadron, FATE (if no one else is doing them they are easy AF), POTD.....

The options are there. You're just choosing to reject them.

Yeah, it's been this way since at least the relaunch. One of the hardest issues the devs have been trying to resolve since forever. That's why you see tanks bribed with mounts and other items. Fairly common thing in most MMOs, unfortunately. Only crazy last-ditch idea I can think of at this point is setting up dungeons balanced for a dps-only group.

It really hasn't been like this since launch....we're in a much better place.....AND we have a dungeon for DPS-only groups......and a second coming soon....

I've mained MNK since Beta P3, and it's always seemed to average 20 minutes give or take. Yeah, it'll pop earlier here and there, but it definitely isn't consistent. Could be a west coast Pacific time-zone thing for me.

We don't. We have a dungeon made for a regular trinity group tuned so mind-numbingly easy that any composition can do it. That's a world different to a dungeon made for DPS-only.

A dungeon made for DPS only is pretty much a regular dungeon except with un-avoidable damage replaced by avoidable damage - No autoattacks, no invisible traps, no random room-wide AoEs, only mechanics, mechanics and more mechanics - Stack, Spread, Pillar Hiding, Orb Placement, Gaze Attacks, Dodge, Meteor Towers, Add Priority, Item interactions, Stand Still/Move, Tethers, Pressure Plates etc etc. The second boss of Bardam's Mettle, except with a health-bar to wail on while you dodge.

The difference between the two is why PotD is exceptionally boring.

Imo, AiN bonus should allow ppl to transfer XP to another role in some way. That way tanks can open DPS slots in the queue instead of take them when they level their alts

One of many many ways this issue could addressed.

A lot of tanks and healers ask their FCs and linkshells for party members before queueing roulettes, invest in these social aspects of the game and you, too, can be riding those fast queues.

Until every tank/healer has taken 2 DPS with them and there's still a DPS surplus left that has to ask their tank/healer 'friends' to work overtime. Of course, they'll also have to wait until they're out of the dungeon from their last trip.

I really want to see the miracle math behind some people's statements.
You have 210 tanks, 230 healers and 560 DPS, every group has 1 healer, 1 tank and 2 DPS, group those people into premades so that nobody needs to wait. GO! You got one week to solve it.
