Just eat the 2k npc miso food to qsynth, bump your stat by 104/39.
culinary vendor by kugane market.
I was crafting about 175 of Twinthread the other day, only three failed with the new gear.
My stats were:
1556 Craftsmanship
1444 Control
I have done an obscene amount of quicksynths with the same gear, both with and without the miso soup food, and I’m beginning to wonder if RNG just hates me. Sometimes I’ll get through a stack of something higher level (like twinsilk or steppe serge) and I’ll have no problem but then an hour later I do the same thing with persimmon lumber and shit hits the fan. Quicksynth makes me want to punch children so I try not to use it unless I’m willing to lose some mats.
I'm not sure if I should be disgusted that a crafter with 3* rate stats would still fail a lv68 quicksynth. I guess it's not much better than 2.5* stats breaking lv66 stuff.
This is like quicksynthing success rates from back in 2.0! I don't recall HW's relative quicksynths being anywhere near this bad.
I'm not seeing the issue you are having, yes some stuff break in the 60's maybe 3-4 sometimes but it's no big deal. You are doing your synths fast(Shoddy workmanship:P) there should be some small penalty. My stats are 1493 craftsmanship 1429 control base I will also pop food doing anything 60+ to increase success rates.
Not sure how many fails you are having, but if I were to compare to 2.0 I would've been getting at least low to high teens in breaks.
This is the same game where you can fail a gather 3x in a row with a 97% success rate. Are you really shocked?
It would be nice if you could craft 10-20 of an item to unlock that item for quicksynth and just negate failures altogether.
Thematically yeah, I see why synthing "quickly" would equal shoddy workmanship (Quicksynth was slower than synthing manually so ... made sense).
I'm not talking thematically though.
In 2.15 when they made stats matter while quicksynthing, I'd have no breaks at all.
In 3.0 when I was quicksynthing stuff 4 levels below me there would be no breaks.
In 4.1 with gear far superior relative to what was available in 3.0-3.1 on stuff 4 levels below AND stat food? Breaks 5-10%. Sucks.
If I was to complain about Quick Synth it would be about the speed only. I would like them to speed up the animation by at least 2x faster.
