Unlock the locked server or let the server die

There was a very interesting article written right here about the negatif effect of keeping the server close as of today.. we demand a direct answer from square enix as of why! Please read it

so the "Gorge on release day and then go 'now what'" people had a server.... and when they hit "now what?" it's empty.. who'da thunk.

Server still is at high "active". I understand it feels dead, but that's what happens with such a large population of content locusts.
