[RDM] Acceleration - No proc - And GCD clipping

I'm looking for advices from very good RDM and i'd like to hear your opinion on that.

So let's imagine a moment where Acceleration is up.
But you have no proc.
Is it better to Jolt II > Acceleration > Veraero/thunder to guarantee the proc

Or should I avoid clipping my gcd, and taking the risk that my next Veraero/Verthunder won't give me anything.

That would mean I'd need to go for another Jolt II.

I'm not sure if you understand what I mean, but if you do, what is the option that make me loose the less dps ?

(also, exclude the swifcast option. I know it's a solution when you have no proc, but that's not my question here. It's focused on clipping the gcd).

Clipping a GCD is a bigger potency loss than having to cast a Jolt instead of a Verstone/Verfire. Plus there's a 50% chance you won't even have to cast an extra Jolt, so I'd say definitely hold Acceleration 'til the next Veraero/Verthunder.

Of course ideally You'd have used it in the GCD before all this happened, but I presume this is for the specific scenario where it comes back off cooldown just before or during the Jolt GCD.

Generally all ogcd's should be used during the 2.5 sec break between dual casts. It's not worth clipping your'e gcd just to use a cd a couple sec earlier.

This is not even an issue. you should always weave acceleration in the same place you would any other ogcd so that you don't clip; after aero/thunder, even if you don't have any procs.

The reasoning is actually quite simple. Even if you get shafted on the 50% chance, jolt II still has a 100% chance to proc impactful, and impact has the same potency as stone/fire. You won't clip your gcd, you won't lose any additional potency to rng(well, in the next few gcds), you'll get your acceleration proc.
