Ogre Pumpkin Carve Off Contest (NA)

We're challenging adventurers around the realm to carve or decorate an Ogre Pumpkin in the theme of FINAL FANTASY XIV to join us in celebration of All Saints' Wake! During an event filled to the brim with mischief, mystery, witches, and wailing spirits—will you offer us a treat, or a terrible trick?

Heroes who display their artistic prowess will be rewarded with some sweet treats as well. So sharpen your daggers, swords, and greatswords because it’s time to get carving! (Sorry botanists!) Can’t carve to save your life? Don’t worry, we have a separate category for our artists out there!

Prizes
Square Enix will select six grand prize winners (three from each category) from the North America region from qualifying entries. Each grand prize winner shall receive each of the following prizes:

How to Enter
1. Submit an image in one of the following categories:

2A. Carving Category
The digital image must clearly depict a pumpkin with your carving design.
Please feel free to take a picture of your pumpkin as is or when it's lit up!

2B. Drawing Category
The digital image must clearly depict your hand-drawn artwork on the template provided here.
Any method of capturing the image (scan of an ink drawing, tablet drawn, photograph, etc.) is acceptable as long as the image is clear and non-blurry.

3. Entries must include the entrant’s character name, World name, date (month, day, and year), and title of the creation somewhere within the image.

4. We highly recommend uploading your images using the "File Management" feature on the Lodestone. Instructions to do so can be found here.

You may practice submitting and formatting your post in the practice/discussion thread here.

Once you are ready, please submit your screenshot in the appropriate entry thread:

You must abide by the following rules and guidelines when submitting your entry:
One (1) entry per person. Subsequent entries by players who have already posted an entry will not be considered after the first.

Entries must have been created for this contest. Previously created items cannot be used to enter.

Entries cannot be edited after submission.

Prospective contestants must have a North America Square Enix Account to enter and must be in the US or Canada (excluding Quebec). Must be 18 or older (or 13 or older with parent’s approval).

Normal forum rules apply to all posts within the contest thread.

Square Enix reserves the right to remove or take down any content in its sole discretion.

Selection
The FINAL FANTASY XIV North American Community Team will select winners based on creativity, humor, originality, and overall execution according to the criteria listed above.

Winners will be announced on or about November 10, 2017.

KEY RULES

A. Official Rules: The Official Rules for this Promotion consist of both (i) these key rules summarizing the important rules for participating in the Promotion (the “Key Rules”) and (ii) the Additional Promotion Official Rules (“Additional Rules”) applicable to your place of legal residence. F. Winner Selection: The Sponsor, or Sponsor’s designee, shall select fifty (50) winners from among all entries using the following methodology:

G. Prize(s): Square Enix will select six (6) grand prize winners (three (3) from the Drawing Category and three (3) from the Carving Category from the North America region from qualifying entries.

H. Winner Notification: Sponsor, or Sponsor’s designee, will notify Winner(s) by or about November 10, 2017 by a forum post of the list of winners and in-game mail.
