Buying your house should be good enough, but no...you want to enter it too!?
You're asking for too much now. That's like trying to have a cake AND eat it too.
I hope they fix this housing nonsense. Everyone should have a house/garden that wants one.
How dare you imply that SE should have to improve their servers at all?! SE is amazing, can do nothing wrong, and should clearly never have to actually spend any money at all improving the game!
Or at least that's what the typical white knights on the forum seem to like to believe. Honestly I think it's kind of pitiful that their servers seemingly can't handle such a thing. Especially when there's way older F2P MMORPGs out there that have been around long before FFXIV that manage housing far better. So a subscription based game like this really should be capable of handling housing better.
You guys didn't see Yoshidas post about improving the servers before the new wards are introduced?
Still same servers they are just trying to get the game to run better to add more houses. Literally won't solve the issue of this OP. More then likely houses share instances with some other aspect of gameplay and not their own allowing them to be cheaper. So in turn we get this awesome system.
This happened last time as well and it honestly dies off within two to three weeks and never comes up again /until/ another housing addition is made. That doesn't mean it shouldn't be fixed, but the only times this issue ever comes up is when new wards or apartments drop because people are decorating like mad. Likewise I think I saw it maybe once when SB dropped, but that's because we had /so/ many people coming back and/or joining. Take that away and have all the mmo hoppers leave again and it becomes a non-issue. Though /again/ this problem is indicative of the larger server issues we're facing when it comes to housing. It might be rare and eventually work itself out but we all know the server they use to keeo the housing data on is a pile of rubbish. Better fix it now while they're addressing the larger system issues.
