Hashmal's Command Tower became untargetable

1. Hashmal entered the phase where he summons a large Command Tower that is meant to be brought down.
2. Soon after spawning, the Command Tower became untargetable. Nobody in our alliance was able to target the tower. We could not determine which action or timing exactly caused this.
3. The untargetable command tower remained standing in the center of the arena; Hashmal jumped down and continued the fight as if after finishing this phase; two Control Towers spawning at once et cetera. Mechanics associated with the phase involving the Command Tower did not continue until...
4. Once what assumably is the Command Tower phase's timer run out, Hashmal cast Landwaster and wiped the entire alliance.

The issue did not repeat on the following try, on which our alliance killed Hashmal.
