Emerald Dream (Noted) OPEN Recruitment

As Final Fantasy XIV moves back into a subscription phase, Emerald Dream will be saying goodbye to some old members and opening the door for potential new. We won't be looking to just replace the members that have decided to leave us, but we are looking to expand beyond those numbers. The linkshell has conducted its events in incredibly small numbered fashion, but there is a desire to expand into a more versatile and indepth linkshell. Although the talent pool of Cornelia will most definitely shrink after the implementation of the preemptive subscription plan, Emerald Dream's requirements will stay true and rigid.

As many know, Emerald Dream is at the forefront of content when it's released. This has labeled us with a title of "hardcore" by many. However, I can assure you personally that we are far from it, there isn't enough content in this game to be hardcore for. Although we do possess the hardcore mentality, we seldomly practice it. We accomplish our achievements and goals quickly and precisely because of the demands, execution, and knowledge that each and every member brings to the table. We play as a group, as a team, as a single unit.

While other groups across other servers may buckle down on content for hours and hours a day until it's cleared, we do it in moderation. We're almost never out in the field for more then 3 hours at a time, but we do reward our members for effort and dedication. We promise that you will recieve a lot from Emerald Dream, if it's not gear that you desire, your goals will be accomplished, and achievements will be met. You'll learn how to play better, smarter, and be integrated into a team-based and team-skilled environment. We're definitely not the best that is out there, but we'll strive to be the best that we possibly can be.


What we're looking for:
We aren't looking to take on a massive under taking of members, but we are looking to fill 4-6 available positions. Our current goal is to have 2 running groups for content at the same time, leaving little if not anyone sitting outside waiting for their chance to get into an instance. In addition, we're hoping to find individuals that can and will mesh well with everyones personalities and skill sets.

The linkshell is incredibly versatile as is and with that versatility comes the need to be able to change to certain jobs at a whim. This will be an asset we are looking hard and closely for from all potential applicants. As an added perk, we're incredibly interestd in individuals that go above and beyond their jobs expectations, whether it's intelligent and skillful play, min./maxing, displaying leadership qualities, etc.

We have many members across many timezones, but we base our events on EST (NA). Generally running events in the evening hours. Unfortunately this puts foreigners in a bad position if you desire to have a chance to run with Emerald Dream. We will not shy away from your application, we have and have had multiple foreign members in the past, but it does take a lot more effort on your end to be apart of the linkshell. We will still welcome your application if you think you will be able to meet not only our time criteria, but as well as all the other requirements. NA, EU, and JP are all welcomed.


Requirements:

ALL APPLICANTS MUST HAVE THE FOLLOWING, ELSE WE WILL VOID THE APPLICATION.

* Level 50 DoW/DoM class
* At least 1 Materia in every possible slot (main jobs)
* Archer leveled to at least level 42 (Chameleon)
* Conjurer leveled to at least level 34 (Sacred Prism, Stoneskin, Raise, Protect, & Cure)
* Thaumaturge leveled to at least level 30 (Sanguine Rite & Resonance)
* Lancer leveled to at least level 26 (Keen Flurry, Invigorate, & Blood for Blood)
* Gladiator leveled to at least level 22 (Sentinel, Shield Bash, Flash, & Rampart)
* Pugilist leveled to at least level 14 (Blindside, Second Wind, & Featherfoot)
* Marauder leveled to at least level 14 (Provoke)
* Ventrilo (you don't need to talk, but it's always welcomed; listening is the most important asset)
* Depending on the situation, if accepted to Emerald Dream we may ask you to leave any other competitive linkshells that you're apart of, this must be understood and accepted. Usually this isn't a problem, most members remain in the linkshell that ED is competitive with, it's more of a precaution for future events that the game may bring.
