With the release of the Shirogane housing wards, all houses were bought within 20 minutes of the patch going online. hundreds were stuck waiting in queue while those log in a fraction of a hair sooner were able to get in.
In Hyperion 595 of the 720 houses were bought up by individuals for personal houses. this number may change later in the day as these individuals are selling their purchases for reportedly double the price, which is supposed to be bannable yet is still being done.
releasing the housing district for this free for all was a terrible idea. so many individuals with multiple accounts and multiple alt characters buying up the housing system feeds into the buy-double-then sell faction of the XIV community.
Housing wards should have been unlocked to FC only first. then after a day unlock it to individuals. being in an FC with a house unlocks the housing content to scores more players than just everyone helping themselves to individual houses. we also have the apartment options which I propose changing up as well to add a balcony so folks can grow gardens. this would get rid of a lot of complaint for those who would settle for a small house and it's amenities.
It would be nice to see these changes take place, there have been similar ideas to mine being posted.
It would also be nice to see that the money my FC raised to move after implementing the move feature, did not go to waste because of bots and alts hording the housing.

Just gonna say, then people would use their 1-person FCs to do the same thing they're going now with housing.
