Will be like this until the new engine, which will allow them to do a years worth of patches in a quarter/half of the time... I'm hoping... Because that is the kind of engine this game is going to need to survive the the relaunch.
I want to see some server merge love. Woke up and walked through Ul'dah today. Could just be in my head but it seemed sparsely populated compared to the norm.
There will be a migration soonish. My guess is right around the time 1.21 rolls out.
