Housing demolition

Hi there, I'm trying to get my 80% Gil back on my house plot, and I was wondering how to get it back?, I had stopped playing for a few months due to financial difficulties and when I got back onto my account I had noticed my house was demolished and someone else moved in which is ok to me, but what is troubling me the most is how to get my Gil % back, the caretaker NPC does not have my gil and I just checked all of my emails and nothing was sent telling me my house was being demolish, if anyone could help me that would be much appreciated considering I spent a big amount of hard earned Gil for that house I had roughly payed 20mill Gil for a medium sized house in the goblet (plot 34 5th ward to be exact) and would like it if I could get my % of gil back so I can buy a new house coming up in the new patch. Thank you for your time and if you could help me that would be wonderful.

I don't recall the exact amount of days, but your gil is lost if you don't visit the caretaker after 30 something days (after the demolition). It's too bad that they don't keep it longer. The same goes for your furniture.

After 45 days of inactivity your house is demolished and any retrievable furniture and 80% of your gil goes to the resident caretaker npc. 35 days after that the npc holding it all assumes you're not coming back and tosses it all in the trash bin, never to be seen again.

All of the housings are currently suspended from demolition. So whenever they lift the suspension, that is the starting day before 45 days of inactivity.
