Just wondering how everyone else is feeling about the new shake it off skill rework to be a bubble shield for the party instead. IMO I love the change but does it make us little to powerful as a ot being able to shield 8%min up to 20%max.

While I happily take it. Its less of a rework I wanted to see for shake it off. The change is rather plain and nothing new to the game
I'm assuming you can "shake it off" when you are down to 1sec left on your buff, and get the full 15seconds. So, you can use Raw Intuition.... and in the last few seconds add a 12% shield to the whole group. I feel bad for DRK's right now. Personally I would have took a "War Cry" ability to increase party damage to make it distinct from other tanks, but I'll love this too :P
@Steady. the problem with a war cry to boost team damage is it would become the top spot of tanks everyone would become warriors just to give that war cry out and it would feel like heavensward with paladins and dark knights crying about how we are to powerful
As long as they keep the animation I'm okay with the change. However I didn't think the skill originally was useless but rather content didn't need it. Why can I shake off doom but not the paralysis from void thunder in in exdeath? Just another case of a great skill on paper but poor implementation due to inconsistency.
Also the skill has a max potential of 24% of max hp.
Quote:
The effect "removes most all detrimental effects" has been changed to "creates a barrier around self and all nearby party members that absorbs damage totaling 8% of maximum HP." Dispels Thrill of Battle, Inner Beast, Vengeance, and Raw Intuition, increasing damage absorbed by 4% for each effect removed. Duration: 15s
Recast time increased from 60 to 90 seconds
I mean, we still run whm's... there's ways to offset these buffs and find balance.
I think optimizing Shake it Off's usage/timing will be pretty interesting, but it might be too strong. We'll have to wait and see.
I tend to agree, think about V3. Just about every heavy tank buster is followed by a raid damage. If you can get your buff for your tankbuster, then shield the party after, your getting alot of bang for your buck. It's recast time lines up perfectly with Raw Intuition. It almost seems like the intended it to be used with it.
I don't particularly like it. I felt the original had better synergy, making Warrior "that tank that can keep itself alive for a while without a healer. ToB, Bloodbath, and equilibrium all felt like movement in that direction, and this was no different.
Now? There's no lore reason why WAR would be able to do this, and I'd have preferred them deleting the skill and installing a new one than a rework like this.
Doesn't help that it has a bit of an advantage over DRK now.
