Using "Confirm" button defaults cursor to "No" on Yes/No prompts

I've recently found the benefit to using the Confirm button to initiate conversations, start actions, etc rather than clicking on everything (and have even bound one of the keys on my mouse to it for even easier use of it), which can really help save time and reduce effort for mundane things, but I've got a pet peeve which is when pressing Confirm on something that brings up a horizontal "Yes" or "No" dialogue prompt (like, say, the entrance to the Rising Stones), the selection cursor always defaults to "No." This then requires me to either press the left arrow key to move it to "Yes" or to have click on Yes instead (needing to move my mouse cursor to do so, usually from way off on the right side of the screen to center). If it would just default to "Yes" then I'd only have to press the confirm button twice in a row, but as it stands it completely and unnecessarily ruins an otherwise great quality of life tool.

Has anyone else found this to be the case and figured out a proper solution to it?

This needs to be fixed.

Believe it or not...this is <practically> a world wide industry standard practice.

The idea is to make damn sure your not accidentally going to do something you don't want to do.
Id say instead of "fixing it" - add an option where you can "check a box" that says don't ask me this again.
But for something like this....Id find it hard to believe SE would move an inch to deal with it.

Granted it gets a bit annoying - but its why i use a controller....tap tap tap..done. (PC...not PS4)

Like dang, this is a serious issue, please fix ASAP yoshi p. people in this game are struggling pressing one extra key. get to it

I'd love the setting to turn the default to "yes".

I play with keyboard and mouse, and I have bound my confirm to F. Too many times I've 'missed' the tiny "OK/yes" box with a quick mouse move, and if I've hit it, occasionally it doesn't register at all because I click it and then mouse is still on the move and goes past before I have lifted my finger off of the mouse button so I miss it anyway. It's frustrating and overall time consuming when I have to click that confirm in about everywhere I go in-game. (In dungeons it defaults to "yes"...)

What comes to the cursor moved with arrow keys would mean I have to lift my hand off of mouse, look at my keyboard because I definitely can't find those buttons without looking, and then 'return' to actual game-play. That doesn't sound convenient when it comes to playing a game.
