Question about Kugane Housing?

I can't find any information about the amount of housing wards they will be opening up when 4.1 hits. Is it gonna be all 12 at once or will they open up gradually over time?

Yes, it will be all twelve wards and subwards at once.

The low-pop servers will be set for life. The medium-pop ones will be fine, though it would be interesting to see how quickly Shiro sells out and leaves the other zones barren. The high-pop servers like Greg and Balmung will be like fighting trench warfare with our ISPs, our clients, the log-in servers, the instance servers for Kugane because there will only be ONE Kugane (with ferry and aetheryte entry points) and NO OTHER way into Shiro, and finally with one another as we scramble to get the houses we want inside of those five to ten minutes. Ten might be estimating really high. AND THEN, the warfare will be moved to the forums, home of the salt, when all is said and done, and the only response we'll get to asking for more wards is Yoshi saying "lol just move servers."

I know that's over-explaining, but yes. Yes, we're getting the twelve wards, and the Twelve may not be with us all.

I must be blind then :P I went through the patch notes and couldn't find it. It only stated that it's 12 wards but theres no statements anywhere that all 12 will be released at the same time.

In life the simplest answer is usually the right one. If they were releasing them progressively/later, that would likely be specified.

Are we able to buy a plot by the Crystal in Kugane or we need to stand in front of the placard of the house we want to buy?

If any alternative arrangements will be in place, I suspect they'll be in the full patch notes, honestly.

Staggered opening would be the fairest thing to do but I reckon you'll run into issues where people are camping outside plots all day, which will cause a shitton of salt, I'm sure.

You have to be at the house plot to buy it.
