I Dream of Shirogane

Okay, I can't be the only person who has actually had a dream of housing gone terribly skewed. What's funny is I actually have a cottage in the Lavender Beds so I'm not even going to be part of the Shirogane stampede, but that hasn't stopped the rush from infecting my freaking dreams!

The dream was that, due to a glitch, housing got released over the weekend. Some people (myself included for some reason) seized the opportunity to buy plots early. For some reason, all the plots that were purchased were larges and mediums. Since the devs couldn't just take them away, they decided to make everyone's houses really small -- like a doghouse. Somehow, that was supposed to keep things fair. /shrug

Oh, I totally had a dream where I was going through my planned route over and over, sometimes I succeeded and sometimes I failed. It was literally just me logging in the game in my dream, porting to the aetheryte and sprinting to the house i wanted. I think it's my minds way of preparing me for possible failure on patch day.

I was in the process of changing ISP, so I had the befit of having 2 ISP for that day. I wanted post this earlier but was busy, and the added fact I need someone post for me, takes extra time then normal, sometimes anyway.

So it was the night before, or 2 nights before 4.0 update, so Saturday night? I had a dream logging in the game, something about housing, and there was some kind of emergency maintenance. We got a strange message then the game cuts out and ... it was a blank.. when things where back to normal, there was something wrong and I kept checking my teleport lists to make sure I still had my house along with my friend's. Since both was there I assumed everything be fine, but I kept checking it anyway. For some reason I ran to my plot( not teleport, I guess the reason was for simply looking around) and my house was not there. I tried using my housing teleport and it took me to the enter zone of lav beds. So I was running around panicking trying to find a plot while apologizing to my friend about not warning her about a potential bug sooner that would cause her to lose her plot... then I woke up, and first 3 seconds I thought it was real
